The previous review is absolultely correct weight. If you do not gain weight on the leg will stand it in fact fly in your basement.
I also recommend a double-ended bag (it to say with a D-ring on the bottom of the bag). It reduces the bag empire. I’m just using 2 bungee cords to tie at the bar, but that seems to work fairly well (instead of a good shock cord). Very useful for practicing kicks.
In addition to weight, I also added 2 bags of 40 lbs of salt water softening on the front-foot more stability. There is nothing special about this kind of salt, I just happened to have around. It looks a little Rube Goldberg, but for the price I’m willing to live with it.
Stand-speed bag is beautiful. Loud, but nice.

I ordered the heavy bag stand 4790 recently. I have limited experience in boxing, but I’m not brand new to the sport. I am a heavy weight 215 pounds, and before I put the weight on the stand to hold it, I was bouncing all over my basement with a bag of 80 pounds attached. Simply add the weight and it’s a big stand.
A real asset for this position is that the legs are nice and wide, and do not exceed too far. This allows some great movement with the bag, and provides a good opportunity to work on footwork and body movement in your workout bag.
You can not go wrong with it, especially with free shipping!

This Bag is a medium heavy piece of equipment good enough. The big bag part of it really needs Add’l weight (hint: bags of sand are much less expensive than the bar plates you need to keep this thing moving – I use 200 pounds of sand bags to hold it in place. be sure to get a double end bag too heavy (ie with a background D-ring), otherwise you’ll swing bag too.
;
You can also put a real bag with two light the end of this part of the unit, which is a nice change of pace on the heavy bag. (The double end bag light is the tire that has two small tendons, holding the chest and is passed around like crazy when you hit it.)
The platform speed bag is a little fragile, especially previous models where the “drum” or rebound board is two pieces (the latest versions of this model using a single piece drum). If you become competent enough in the speed bag at any time you grow up this aspect of the unit. Part of the problem is that the only vertical pole which attaches the drum Speedbag will flex when you get the bag moving very fast and can get rid of your calendar. Use the speed bag smallest size possible to minimize this inertia. Finally, the platform speed bag does not really adjust high enough for people over 6’2 “tall, and if you’re over 6’1 “or you will need to use a small bag of speed or xtra small to have it hang at the correct height (ie the belly of the bag mouth / chin level).

It is a position that suits the times, which allows the formation of the heavy bag and speed bag necessary for improving boxing or martial arts skills.
It has limits as regards the mobility of the heavy bag work in a 360 degrees, because of the platform and the weight necessary for stabilization. If you have the space I propose two training sites Sperate of the bag and speed bag heavy. If not this product will achieve its goal.

I had read mixed reviews on that point but decided to take a chance on her and she bought six weeks ago. I’m glad I did. The package arrived on time, well packaged and all parts there. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Assembly went very quickly.
The main reason is that I bought that is made with square tubing instead of round. This gives you a stronger position than the cheap “swing” type pipe and square tubing lies flat on the ground not only to touch a point that the round tube stands.
In addition, he a wider footprint weight of 4 points for stability. The common footprint 3-pt made to less stability in the back, unless you limit your movements around the bag, causing oscillation, even with weights and sandbags. footprint expanded access does mead bag less usable. You are still able to use for punching and kicking on a range of 260 degrees of unity. You’ll still need to use sand bags to stabilize the device we did not find booth amateur weight alone hold. But sandbags are cheap at any Home Depot or Lowe’s building center.
My little son, 10, uses a bag of 40 lb. double-ended lashing for practicing taekwondo. My son uses a 80 lb bag for his. The height adjustment is easy for the little-son using the Speedbag. We found this device to be more functional than others we’ve had in the past round pipes (Bent on two others by one month). We are very happy.
