Can’t deny the punching power of Foreman. Look at how little effort he seems to put in the right that drops Moorer. Like getting hit by a bus.

I met Foreman when he came to Yorktown, VA for a Meineke promo in 2002. I was stunned by his humble, almost meek, demeanor. He seems as nice a guy in real life as he comes across on TV. He’s a truly great American man. BTW, his fists are absolutely massive!

He was a great one!!!!!!
In his prime, he would knocked out all of the Klitschko`s etc… in the first three rounds!

@hystrungified Are you kidding!? He looked knackered aftertwo rounds of effortlessly whoopin’ Frazier’s ugly ass around, 8 rounds of going abosolutely crazy on Ali? No surprise he had nothing in the tank. Fast count? The ref was right to stop the fight, Foreman was totally aware of the canvas as he was going down, just couldn’t do anything about. Foreman’s accepted he was beaten by the best, why don’t you?

Foreman was not even closed to being knocked out. He was just waiting for his corner to tell him to get up.

Yeah, i totally agree. But I weren’t talking about prime vs. prime. I’m talking about “comeback-Foreman” not “prime-Foreman”.

Dude you do know Tyson in ’85 was still 18 and wouldn’t have stood a chance right!
His best year was without a doubt 1989 that was the Mythical Prime Mike Tyson, and any fool that wants to bring up a Prime vs Prime, 1973 George Foreman would’ve absolutely KILLED Prime Mike Tyson

foreman was drugged b4 the fight with ali so that his stamina would decrease.. and if u watch another video about that fight. u will see how fast the reff counts from 8 to 10 wen foreman is already standing back up

Boxing isent all about speed and Power its also about tatctics and muhammad ali showed that he possesed all three skills over his career

I agree, but if he had fought in a different way, not wasting his punching power, then Ali would have been dancing more cause he could still do that (he even could in 1981 fight Berbick) so it would have been a long fight and Ali could have won by decition since he was faster and were able to land more punches, but if Foreman were able to land a few great once then he would have won.
He didn’t fight Tyson since he went to prison, but he would have won in 1990, but I don’t think in 1985 though.

i agree totally. in fact, i believe tyson dodged foreman a few times when he was on his comeback. i think a fight between them would go like the tyson v lewis.

In a weird way, I don’t think that Ali beat Foreman in that Foreman beat himself. He made the critical mistake of underestimating his opponent and didn’t work on his conditioning and strategy. I still believe had he done that, he would’ve beaten Ali, and on his comeback, could’ve beaten tyson himself.
