Many people still believe that the introduction of the Marquis of Queensberry rules boxing has been made safe and civilized, crawling at the thought of “the fight against bareknuckle.
P> Just the very word from “bareknuckle” automatically triggers the preconceived ideas of what is extremely violent, even before they really know what is about to occur effectively. Here are some facts that many do not know.
P> Despite this battle seems to be, in most cases, gloves cause more damage to a hunter than just getting hit with a fist naked. Yes, there are many more cuts, bruises and swelling of the face that will obviously happen to be on the receiving end of these strikes, and there will be a lot more blood to liberate the impression that it is violent and dangerous. Let’s clear this stereotype once and for all.
P> At the strike with a glove, the damage to the exterior of the head seems to be safe. However, the damage is taken inside your brain. Of course, if you want a successful promotion where you can get some viewers increasingly manic hardcore aficionados and go into your product, it would be wise to disengage from “safer” image and go with the gloves. p> When you try to sell a television program, for some strange reason, that does make sense to me, it was more important to make the product safer than actually seem to reeducate and makes viewers sure. God forbid we actually made boxing a safer helmet, etc., only for fans who participate in events where a large percentage of viewers are comrades, friends, family and make more an exhibition “that” the real deal. ”
P> This is what all these politicians who have never been involved with the game in any way, shape or form considered MMA and similar competitions, pushing for them to these tiny gloves, which are not only more dangerous, but actually allow participants to hit harder without hurting your hands just to add to the equation fatal.
P> Without doing any homework, they have abused their power for a lot of these MMA events more dangerous, which was the exact opposite of their original intentions. You can wreak havoc with a pair of gloves for 6 to 8 oz. You could kill someone struggling with something just a notch above a pair of bag gloves that attach to a fraction of a second on the impact of standing up even the addressee of an absorbing shock rather than being partially deflected when he slid out after the first contact, by throwing a punch is not afraid of hurting his own hand or wrist due to the protection and would be activated to blow up at will. p> Do not believe me? Look around you. How many people have disappeared “Punch-Drunk” barefisted of MMA compared to the number of people in boxing or kick-boxing? Why is it that boxers get punchy Trained a group of young people in primary school are fighting every day in the playground would end without visible brain lesions when they had some hundreds of “bareknuckle” fighting over their school career? Not to mention that in MMA or in a street fight or bar brawl, moreover, the fighting does not go nearly as long, and certainly not for 10, 12 or 15 rounds or more in boxing. I do boxing for one year only (like working on protecting my head, a sort of extracurricular activities to add to my arsenal), 3 rounds of several minutes was the standard combat / competition. I’ve never been in or seen a fight that lasted more than a minute, and the few times where it has about one minute (or seemed to go very long, but was probably much shorter), which has long been It felt like eternity!
P> “Bareknuckle” and “no rules” scary? The thought of gloves and many rules scare me much more. “Rules to protect myself,” Give me a break. The more rules you have, the longer the fight, the more damage you receive it. Take a look at boxing, no elbows, no knees or feet , no throws, ground fighting or without comments. Although the combinations can be endless, basically you are limited to a JAB, a right hook and an uppercut. There you have it, 4 shots. Takes over time to put someone with such a limited collection of weapons. To tell you the truth, with the introduction of the rope breaking pro-traditional wrestling, the Bushido style matches lasted much longer than the typical style MMA Match making it more difficult in many ways. Of course, we need to protect our guys, and we went to great lengths to do the same thing. And I’m happy to say that no one was maimed, paralyzed or disabled lifetime.
P> We have had our share of broken fingers, broken nose, cheeks, neck bad, dislocated joints, knees and blowing, etc.. All I am saying is we have been sensible enough to set rules just enough to control the action if it does not get out of hand. “You’re pro-wrestling” we had the perfect excuse to get rid of punches head. Nobody condemns boxing can not kick or submission holds, right? That resolved a dispute over issues vs. bare fist glove, we have removed two, at least in the UWFi. P> We, of course, quickly discovered that the heel of the hand / open hand strikes in many cases proved to be more powerful than a punch, but the damage was much less repetitive strikes of a glove to cause trauma to the brain. We have had less serious injuries than boxing or other styles of wrestling are more entertainment tailored to the shape of fire style. We had protective gear on the shins of fighters who wanted to throw kicks (he has been in our rules that kick in “shooting boots” or shin guards are mandatory).
P> It was like a boxing glove on the tibia, but it does serve as protection when blocking kicks from the opponent and not to remove a lot of the sting from a stroke foot barefoot. What makes this more secure than a glove? Well, first of all, most of the kicks were low kicks. P> Then came the middle kicks. The kicks in the legs were a necessary strategy and a lot of “hash” or someone to put up with other movements, but there is much less likely to get brain damage from a low kick repetitive gloved fists to the head. We also had a points system that would automatically end a fight if someone was completely dominated, and in rare cases where it happened the referee would tend to terminate before reaching this point. Yes, there was the “knockout” of the high kicks, but not repeated kicks to the head. p> end of the game “I-
