How do you get google images to show images instead of white boxes?

When I search for images on google images or MOST Other search engines, the results tend to show up as white boxes or just a broken symbol, I Have google chrome and internet explorer just aim Both show the white boxes MOST of the time. please help.

The Women stunned shoppers, builders and Office Workers As They marched wearing tight leather trousers and only camouflage body paint across Their chests.
