whats the best way to tidy a bedroom?

so my bedroom IS a bit of a tip and i would like to tidy it up a bit. order now sure how to go about it. Have i just loads of stuff lying on the floor. books, clothes, dvds, games, boxes, bits of paper, pet food. Basically if my mam cleans my room, it gets dirty again in a week.

Some get lopsided I know (all the sand at the bottom sits on the bag and loose at the top) what brands and bags do not do that? im looking at walmart and THEY Have Good priced but not sure which ones are good.
